Although the villa has a cozy vibe, the hot attic room made it hard to relax during the day, especially with poor air conditioning. I appreciated the chilled water, cookies, and bananas offered throughout the day. Some communication with the villa manager was tricky due to a language barrier, but owners did respond well via WhatsApp. For a budget-friendly price, the hospitality and ambiance made it worthwhile, despite the minor inconveniences.

i had the most underwhelming stay at villa mungkala. the air conditioning was so poor that it was practically non-existent, making my days unbearably hot. i was also charged extra for a card payment, which could’ve been mentioned beforehand, and heavens, where was my welcome gift? i almost thought of giving a good review, but just couldn’t.

It’s an old historic home with beautiful antique furniture. I had a super spacious room with a comfy bed and a lovely sitting area. The breakfast was fantastic, and the staff were incredibly welcoming. I genuinely enjoyed my 16-night stay and got sad leaving. 😊
